The Burbank Tigers readily handled Chicago Whales by a score of 6 to 2 at
Burbank Park.
Burbank jumped on top of Chicago in the bottom of the 4th inning scoring 3
runs on 3 hits. Ketel Marte started the inning off right when he slapped a
base-hit. Ramon Laureano came to the plate and stroked a one-base hit.
Brent Rooker then lofted a three-run bomb. Burbank ended up with 11 hits for
the game while Chicago had 5.
Sean Burke(1-0) allowed no runs in 5 innings, and picked up the victory. Randy
Vasquez(0-2) was the losing pitcher. Burbank now has a record of 18-15.
With this loss, Chicago has a 7-3 record of late, 18-15 overall.
