In a close game it was the Tampico Stogies 8, the Palatine Cubs 6 at Palatine
Park.
Palatine found themselves trailing quickly as the Tampico bats came through in
the first inning as they scored 3 runs on 4 base hits. Tampico totaled 12
hits on the night.
Griffin Canning(4-1) was the winner allowing 1 run in 6 innings. Canning got
help from Aroldis Chapman who was credited with his 9th save. The losing
