Freeland(3-1) looked very much in control throughout the night. He gave up
just 3 hits and 1 walk in 7 innings dropping his ERA from 4.09 to 3.60.
Streator finished with 9 hits while Illinois ended up with 6.
Jose Berrios(0-4) ended up with the loss. Freeland, when asked about his 11
strikeout performance noted, 'The important thing is that we won, if I get 20
and we lose, what good does it do our team? But, on the other hand, since we
won it feels great!'
