One run was the difference at Lateralus Parabola as the seemingly unstoppable
New York The Yanks defeated the Nimrod Numnuts 2 to 1.
New York came up with the deciding runs in the 8th inning scoring 2 runs on 2
base hits. Steven Kwan got things going when he doubled. Rhys Hoskins
followed and he drew a walk. Jason Adam then let loose a wild pitch.
Mauricio Dubon stepped in and he hit a deep fly scoring a run. One out
later, Jorge Polanco stepped up to the plate and he was walked intentionally.
Taylor Ward kept the rally going and laced a single scoring the final run of
the inning. Nimrod proved to be no trouble in the 9th.
The winning pitcher was Luke Weaver(2-0) who allowed no runs in 1 and 1/3
innings. Adam(1-4) absorbed the loss in relief. He gave up 2 hits and 2
walks in 2/3 of an inning.
This win by New York continues their recent hot streak. In their last ten
