Logan Henderson dominated striking out 10 Burbank batters as the Texas Flood
bested the Burbank Tigers 2 to 1 at Lawton Stadium.
Henderson(1-1) gave Texas a solid outing. He allowed only 3 hits and no walks
in 7 innings lowering his ERA from 3.00 to 2.08. Burbank made it exciting in
the 9th, but they were unable to push the needed runs across.
Henderson got help from Ben Brown who was credited with his 3rd save. Luis
Severino(2-3) took the loss. Henderson was jubilant in the hometown
clubhouse, 'It was a lot of fun out there. The fans gave me a lot of support
as did my teammates. We got the victory and I'll sure take 10 strikeouts
anytime!'
