In a lop-sided win the Columbus Crowd tallied 6 runs in the 8th inning and
ripped the Tampico Stogies by a 7 to 2 count.
Columbus came up with the deciding runs in the bottom of the 8th inning when
they came up with 6 runs on 5 hits. The key offensive moment was provided by
Brayan Rocchio who thrilled the crowd when he smashed a two-run homer.
Columbus banged out 9 hits on the night.
The victory was credited to Tyler Holton(2-0) who went 1 and 2/3 innings,
allowing no runs. Rafael Montero(1-1) absorbed the loss in relief.
