Junior Caminero went deep at Jurassic Park as the Texas Flood staged a
comeback win over the Dyersville Jurassics by the count of 9 to 7.
Texas came through with the game-winning runs in the top of the 9th inning
plating 3 runs utilizing 2 base hits. After an out was recorded, Vladimir
Guerrero Jr got things rolling when he drew a walk. Riley Greene was next
and he drew a walk. Ben Rice then clubbed a three-run home run. Texas had
10 hits overall, while Dyersville had 7.
Andrew Heaney(1-4) got credit for the victory, pitching 1 and 1/3 innings and
allowing 1 run. Mason Miller(1-2) took the loss in relief.
'We just kept swinging the bats and didn't give up,' Caminero said. 'If you
just keep trying good things can happen!'
