Miguel Andujar homered and had 3 RBI as the New York The Yanks staged a
dramatic comeback over the Gotham Gold Gloves by a score of 6 to 5 at Edsel
Stadium.
New York erupted with the game winning runs in the 9th inning with 2 runs
using 2 hits. After an out was recorded, Ha-Seong Kim began the New York
spurt when he slapped a base-hit. One out later, Andujar stepped in and he
cracked a two-run shot. New York rapped out 8 hits for the night.
Gabe Speier(1-0) allowed 1 run in 2 and 1/3 innings, and picked up the
victory. Tristan Beck was credited with his 1st save. Erik Miller(0-1) was
given the loss in relief.
