Chris Sale reeled off a total of 10 strikeouts as the Streator Reds outscored
the Borculo Bumble Bees 4 to 3.
Sale(2-1) pitched one of his finer games as he simply was too much for the
Borculo batters. He was stingy on the mound, allowing just 3 hits and 1 walk
in 7 innings lowering his ERA from 3.24 to 2.53. Streator banged out 8 hits
on the night.
Sale was helped out by Justin Wrobleski who recorded his 2nd save. Shota
Imanaga(1-3) absorbed the loss. He allowed 4 runs and 7 hits in 5 innings.
'Everything felt great' Sale said. 'I had a good fastball, I felt I could
throw it by everybody tonight.'
