William Contreras blasted a grand slam as the Tampico Stogies outscored the
Burbank Tigers 10 to 3.
Contreras provided much of the offense. He launched a rocket-shot out of the
park for a Grand Slam homerun in the 1st inning and doubled in the 5th
inning. For the game Tampico out-hit Burbank 17 to 10.
Charlie Morton(1-0) got the win allowing 1 run in 5 innings. The loss was
charged to Luis Severino(2-2). He allowed Tampico 8 runs in 4 and 1/3
