In an entertaining game at Sutter Health Park the final score was the Borculo
Bumble Bees 8, the Nimrod Numnuts 5.
Borculo had 4 runs cross the plate in the top of the 4th inning when they had
3 base hits. The critical plate appearance was by Francisco Lindor who
disappointed the partisan crowd when he belted a three-run homer. Borculo
had 12 hits for the night.
The win went to Logan Webb(1-2) who allowed 5 runs in 5 and 2/3 innings. Webb
got relief help from Taijuan Walker who gained credit for his 1st save.
Jeffrey Springs(2-2) was tagged with the loss. He was unable to control the
Borculo offense and allowed 9 hits and 2 walks in 5 innings.
Wth the win Borculo now has a record of 7-16. With the loss, Nimrod has a
