Baseballs were flying all over the ballpark as the Gotham Gold Gloves ran
roughshod over the seemingly hapless Palatine Cubs. The Gotham offense
rolled up a total of 14 runs!.
Trent Grisham had a big day against Palatine. He slapped a single in the 1st
inning, doubled which was good for two runs in the 3rd inning and popped a
two-run clout over the fence in the 9th inning. The Gotham offense
dominated, scoring in 7 of the 9 innings.
Framber Valdez(2-3) allowed 1 run in 7 innings, and picked up the victory. The
loss was charged to Jake Irvin(0-1). He allowed 9 hits and 3 walks in 2 and
2/3 innings.
