438 fans watched an exciting game at Sutter Health Park. The Nimrod Numnuts
topped the Borculo Bumble Bees by the slimmest of margins, 6 to 5.
Both teams were tied at 4 runs apiece after nine innings. Nimrod came out the
victor in the 10th inning. Ian Happ began the rally when he doubled scoring
a single run. Logan O'Hoppe was next and he singled. Luis Rengifo then drew
a walk to load the bases. J.P. Crawford was next to bat, but he was a
strikeout victim. Justyn-Henry Malloy came up to bat and drew a walk making
Nimrod the victors to the delight of the home town faithful. Nimrod ended up
with 14 hits for the game while Borculo had 8.
Jason Adam(1-3) got the win allowing 1 run in 1 inning. Taijuan Walker(0-4)
suffered the loss in relief. He surrendered 2 runs and 1 hit in 1 inning.
