In a close game the Dublin Pubcrawlers got by the Borculo Bumble Bees by the
score of 4 to 2.
Borculo was unable to claim the lead after Dublin went ahead in the top of the
7th inning plating one baserunner. After an out was recorded, Wyatt Langford
drew a walk. Langford was safe on a stolen base. One out later, Carlos
Correa was walked intentionally. Josh Smith stepped in and he lined a single
to load the bases. Starling Marte stepped into the box and was hit by a
pitch scoring the run. Dublin had 9 hits for the game and Borculo had 5.
The win went to Matthew Liberatore(2-2) who allowed 2 runs in 6 innings. Jeff
Hoffman recorded the save, his 5th. Taijuan Walker(0-3) was the losing
pitcher in relief.
