The Woodfield Roadkyll nipped the Dyersville Jurassics in 12 innings 4 to 3 at
Jurassic Park in a hard fought contest.
Both teams had scored 2 runs after nine full innings. Woodfield came out on
top in the 12th inning. After two were out Marcelo Mayer kicked off the
action when he lifted one out of the park for a two run home run. Dyersville
out-hit Woodfield 9 to 5, but Woodfield ended up with more runs.
Bennett Sousa(1-0) was the winner allowing 1 run in 1 and 2/3 innings. Sousa
got help from Andres Munoz who was credited with his 1st save. Braydon
Fisher(0-1) suffered the loss in relief.
