The indomitable Chicago Whales edged the Tampico Stogies at West Side Park by
the score of 5 to 4.
Pete Fairbanks(2-1) came through for Rich Domovic with an excellent relief
stint. He did not allow a baserunner in his 2 innings. Tampico out-hit
Chicago 10 to 6, but Chicago ended up with more runs.
Fairbanks got help from Mitch Spence who was credited with his 1st save. Kyle
Bradish(1-3) was the losing pitcher. He surrendered 6 hits and 3 walks in 8
innings.
