In a close game it was the Caracas Leones 4, the awful Dallas Gibsons 2 at
Leones Field.
Caracas scored the decisive runs in a big bottom of the 8th inning scoring 2
runs on 2 base hits. After an out was recorded, Jose Altuve jump-started the
rally as he lined a single. Tyler Stephenson came next and he doubled. A
balk was called which scored a run. Sam Long then threw a wild pitch scoring
the final run of the inning. Caracas managed only 5 hits on the night.
Jake Junis(7-4) was the winner allowing no runs in 2 innings. The losing
pitcher was Chris Martin(2-2) in relief. He allowed 2 hits and no walks in
