Lars Nootbaar slammed 2 homeruns as the Chicago Whales bested the Dyersville
Jurassics 15 to 8 at Jurassic Park.
Nootbaar enjoyed a big evening at the plate. He cleared the bases with a
Grand Slam homerun in the 1st inning and ripped a solo home run in the 8th
inning. Chicago lit up the scoreboard in the 1st inning when they had 4 runs
on 3 hits and the 2nd inning which saw them score 6 runs on 5 hits. Chicago
had 23 hits for the game and Dyersville had 14.
The win went to Kyle Gibson(12-7) who allowed 3 runs in 7 innings. Aaron
Nola(9-13) was charged with the loss.
