Jurassic Park.
Dyersville brought 5 runs across the plate in the 5th inning with the help of
6 hits. The biggest moment was provided by Justin Turner who elicited a roar
from the hometown fans when he lofted a three-run bomb. Overall Dyersville
out-hit Chicago 12 to 6.
The winning pitcher was Justin Slaten(3-3) who allowed no runs in 3 and 1/3
innings. Mason Miller preserved the game for Slaten, recording his his 31st
save. Fernando Cruz(3-3) was charged with the loss in relief. He allowed 3
