39,025 fans were treated to a fine game at The Bumble Box as only one run
separated the combatants at game's end. The Borculo Bumble Bees won by the
slimmest of margins, 5 to 4.
Borculo came up with the deciding runs in the 8th inning scoring 2 runs on 2
hits. After an out was recorded, Jonah Bride initiated the scoring spurt
when he banged out a single. Marcell Ozuna stepped up next and he lifted one
out of the park for a two run home run. Borculo had just 6 hits for the
night.
The win went to Jeff Hoffman(3-3) who allowed no runs in 1 and 1/3 innings.
Hoffman was helped out by Ryan Walker who recorded his 28th save. Sean
Reid-Foley(1-1) was the loser in relief.
