Spencer Torkelson collected 2 extra-base hits as the Streator Reds beat the
Dublin Pubcrawlers by a score of 6 to 4.
Streator had 2 runs cross the plate in the 7th inning. After two were out
Torkelson started the attack as he tripled. Rhys Hoskins stepped into the
batter's box and he bombed a two-run dinger. Dublin had 13 hits in the game
while Streator had 8, but Streator had the more timely hits.
Keegan Akin(2-2) allowed no runs in 1 and 2/3 innings, and picked up the
victory. Akin got help from Kirby Yates who earned his 29th save. Eli
Morgan(0-1) was given the loss in relief. He saw his ERA jump from 4.45 to
5.01 as gave up 3 runs in 2 innings.
