Miguel Amaya ripped 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI as the Nimrod Numnuts topped the
Woodfield Roadkyll by a score of 15 to 7 at Englefield Green.
Amaya enjoyed a big evening at the plate. He doubled in the 2nd inning,
popped a two-run clout over the fence in the 3rd inning and bombed a two-run
dinger in the 6th inning. Nimrod provided plenty of action in the 3rd inning
which saw them plate 4 runs on 3 hits. The Nimrod offense man-handled the
Woodfield pitching staff as they scored in 7 of the 9 innings.
Tylor Megill(4-5) allowed 3 runs in 6 innings, and picked up the victory.
Keider Montero gained credit for his 5th save. Max Meyer(1-5) ended up with
the loss. He was touched for 3 homeruns in his 7 innings of work.
