Shortstop Trea Turner hit 2 doubles at Burbank Park as the Burbank Tigers beat
the Caracas Leones in 10 innings 5 to 4.
Both teams had scored 3 runs after nine full innings. Burbank ended up
winning it in the 10th inning. After an out was recorded, Turner started the
attack as he doubled plating a run. Colton Cowser stepped up next and he
slapped a one-base hit giving Burbank the win and sending the home town fans
into a frenzy. Burbank banged out 10 hits on the night.
Robert Suarez(2-6) went 1/3 of an inning allowing no runs for the win. The
loss was charged to Jake Junis(6-4) in relief. He surrendered 2 runs and 1
hit in 2/3 of an inning.
