Blake Perkins had 2 base hits at Lateralus Parabola where the Columbus Crowd
beat the awful New York The Yanks 4 to 3.
Columbus had 3 runs cross the plate in the 7th inning. After an out was
recorded, Perkins initiated the scoring spurt when he drew a walk. Corbin
Carroll followed and he ripped a base-hit. Anthony Santander then belted a
three-run homer. New York made it exciting in the 9th, but they were unable
to push the needed runs across.
Cole Irvin(1-0) went 3 innings allowing 3 runs for the victory. Tyson Miller
got the save, his 4th. Luis Garcia(1-2) was hit with the loss in relief.
