The Dyersville Jurassics edged the pitiful Nimrod Numnuts in 10 innings at
Jurassic Park by the score of 4 to 3.
The game was deadlocked at 3 after nine full innings. Dyersville won it in
the 10th inning. Willy Adames drew a walk. Teoscar Hernandez stepped up
next and he lined a single to load the bases. Julio Rodriguez then lined a
base-hit making Dyersville the winners and sending the 44,683 fans home
happy. Dyersville finished with just 6 hits in the victory.
Lucas Erceg(5-2) went 1 inning allowing no runs for the victory. Kris
Bubic(0-1) absorbed the loss in relief. He was a hard-luck loser, pitching 1
and 2/3 innings and not allowing an earned run.
