Tim Herrin was great in relief as the strong Borculo Bumble Bees beat the
lifeless Palatine Cubs by a score of 7 to 5.
Palatine was unable to climb back into it after Borculo went ahead for good in
the 7th inning when they came up with 2 runs on 3 hits. Borculo finished
with 12 hits while Palatine ended up with 8.
Orion Kerkering(5-1) was the winner allowing no runs in 1/3 of an inning.
Herrin preserved the game for Kerkering, recording his his 2nd save. Martin
Perez(1-3) absorbed the loss. By surrending 6 runs in 6 innings his ERA
jumped from 4.76 to 5.65.
