bested the Aarlington Aardvarks 8 to 5 at Aarlington Field.
Vientos enjoyed a fine evening at the plate. He clubbed a solo home run in
the 5th inning and belted a three-run homer in the 8th inning. Dyersville
had 9 hits for the night.
Justin Slaten(2-2) got credit for the victory, pitching 1 and 2/3 innings and
allowing no runs. Carlos Estevez gained credit for his 9th save. Brent
Suter(3-4) was given the loss in relief. Despite the loss, he struckout 4
Dyersville batters in 1 and 2/3 innings.
