Freddy Peralta reeled off a total of 12 strikeouts at The Horseshoe as the
Columbus Crowd beat the Aarlington Aardvarks 2 to 0.
Peralta(8-7) had a strong outing. He surrendered only 5 hits and no walks in
7 innings lowering his ERA to 3.60. Neither team managed to score after the
1st inning.
Jojo Romero earned the save, his 2nd. Bryce Miller(13-6) suffered the loss.
Everyone seemed to enjoy the performance of Peralta - except Aarlington.
Steve Linke lamented, 'He just was 'on' tonight. He was keeping our guys off
balance all game. A fine game by a good strikeout pitcher - makes it a fun
game for the hometown fans - unfortunately we were the visitors!'
