Jake Burger hit one over the fence and had 2 RBI as the Gotham Gold Gloves
outscored the floundering Streator Reds 7 to 2.
Gotham wasted no time and took the lead in the first inning scoring 2 runners
on 3 hits. The highlight belonged to Burger who brought a roar from the
partisan Edsel Stadium fans when he cleared the fences for a two-run home
run. Gotham ended up with 11 hits for the game while Streator had 6.
Jack Flaherty(10-3) went 6 innings allowing 1 run for the victory. Ryan
Yarbrough got the save, his 4th. The losing pitcher was Javier Assad(4-11).
