At Comerica Park the Tampico Stogies outscored the Hollywood Marines 4 to
1.
Hollywood lost it in the 3rd inning when Tampico did all their damage as they
scored 4 runs on 4 base hits. That was all the runs Griffin Canning(4-8)
needed. The pitchers took over after the 3rd inning as neither team was able
to score again.
Aroldis Chapman earned his 28th save. Charlie Morton(6-10) was the loser. He
was knocked around by Tampico, allowing 5 hits and 3 walks in 2 and 2/3
innings.
