The Gotham Gold Gloves pitchers essentially took the day off at Lawton Stadium
as the Texas Flood offense erupted for 15 runs while Ronel Blanco(9-2), with
relief help from Kevin Kelly, surrendered 2 runs to Gotham.
Corey Seager made sure the Texas fans enjoyed themselves. He laced a
base-knock scoring a run in the 1st inning and caught a hold of a fastball
for a Grand Slam homerun in the 8th inning. Texas bats were hot in the 1st
inning when they had 5 runs on 6 hits and the 8th inning which saw them plate
5 runs on 4 hits. Texas had 16 hits for the game and Gotham had 4.
Kutter Crawford(3-8) was given the loss. He gave up 6 hits and no walks in
2/3 of an inning.
