In a one-sided affiar at West Side Park the final score was the Burbank Tigers
7, the Chicago Whales 2.
Burbank took the lead off Yusei Kikuchi in the first inning scoring 2 runs on
2 hits. After an out was recorded, Trea Turner began the Burbank spurt when
he ripped a base-hit. Michael Conforto was a strikeout victim, unable to
help out. Brent Rooker then popped a two-run clout over the fence. Burbank
had 10 hits overall, while Chicago had 4.
The victory went to Luis Ortiz(8-1) who went 6 innings, allowing 1 run.
