At Lateralus Parabola, the New York fans witnessed a great pitcher's duel.
Mitchell Parker(6-10) finally bested his Borculo opposite, Logan Webb(9-7),
by the score of 2 to 1.
New York took the lead off Webb in the first inning scoring one runner on 3
base hits. Parker got relief help from Ryan Thompson who was excellent in
relief and gained credit for his 4th save.
Webb was hit with the loss. He pitched 8 innings and surrendered 9 hits and 2
walks. The New York ballclub's record now stands at 47-66. With an
impressive recent record of 8-2, Borculo hopes this will only be an isolated
loss - followed by another nice run.
