Third baseman Eugenio Suarez jacked one out of the ballyard and Kutter
Crawford didn't allow a hit until the 7th inning at Edsel Stadium as the
Gotham Gold Gloves beat the hopeless Tampico Stogies by the count of 7 to
5.
Crawford(3-7) looked very much in control throughout the night. He gave up
just 3 hits and 3 walks in 8 innings. The right-handed Crawford had his
no-hit bid broken up by Brendan Donovan who singled with nobody out in the
7th inning. Tampico threatened in the 9th but their rally came up short.
Crawford got help from Raisel Iglesias who was credited with his 17th save.
The loss was charged to Brayan Bello(2-12). He allowed 9 hits and 1 walk in
6 innings.
