Sean Manaea reeled off a total of 12 strikeouts as the Gotham Gold Gloves
defeated the Dyersville Jurassics by a score of 2 to 0 at Jurassic
Park.
Manaea(9-7) put on a good performance. He allowed only 7 hits and 3 walks in
8 innings lowering his ERA from 4.71 to 4.43. After the 1st inning, neither
team was able to score.
Raisel Iglesias earned his 16th save. Miles Mikolas(3-10) was the losing
pitcher. Manaea was asked about his big strikeout performance, 'Well, it's a
little odd when you rack up these numbers on the road - instead of cheers and
a running tally in the stands, everything gets real still and quiet. Just
strange - but it's nice to be able to take the crowd out of the game.'
