In a good matchup it was the blistering-hot Borculo Bumble Bees 5, the
Hollywood Marines 3 at The Bumble Box.
Borculo scored 2 runs in the decisive 2nd inning. Mookie Betts led off and
keyed the rally when he doubled. Two outs later Cody Bellinger came to bat
and clubbed a two-run home run. Borculo rapped out 9 hits for the night.
The win was credited to Tyler Rogers(4-1) who went 1 and 1/3 innings allowing
no runs. Rogers got help from Ryan Walker who earned his 20th save. The loss
was charged to Mitch Keller(8-5). He allowed 3 homeruns in 4 and 2/3 innings
of work.
Borculo continued on their recent roll, their winning streak now reaching 8
games and counting.
