Eduardo Rodriguez had an impressive outing as the Dallas Gibsons crushed the
Burbank Tigers 15 to 1.
Matt Vierling had a big evening at the plate. He ripped a base-hit in the 1st
inning, lost the ball over the fence for three runs in the 7th inning and
laced a base-knock in the 8th inning. Dallas provided plenty of action in
the 2nd inning which saw them score 4 runs on 3 hits. The Dallas offense
man-handled the Burbank pitching staff as they scored in 7 of the 9 innings.
Rodriguez(1-2) picked up the victory, allowing no runs in 6 innings. Rodriguez
got relief help from Sean Hjelle who gained credit for his 3rd save. Luis
Severino(5-11) was charged with the loss. He got hammered, allowing 9 hits
and 2 walks in 3 and 1/3 innings.
