Right fielder Teoscar Hernandez had 3 base hits at West Side Park as the
Dyersville Jurassics beat the Chicago Whales 3 to 1.
Dyersville scored the decisive runs in a big top of the 9th inning with 2 runs
using 2 hits. Julio Rodriguez led off and keyed the rally when he drew a
walk. Mark Vientos stepped into the batter's box and he cracked a two-run
shot. Mason Miller pitched a perfect ninth to earn his 23rd save.
Lucas Erceg(3-2) got the win allowing no runs in 2 innings. Fernando Cruz(1-2)
was the losing pitcher in relief. 'We really needed this win' said Jim
Aldrich. 'That first drink of water at the end of a drought sure does taste
good!'
