Byron Buxton had 5 hits and 5 RBI as the Dublin Pubcrawlers man-handled the
Dallas Gibsons - the final score was 14 to 4.
Buxton had a great evening at the plate. He had the crowd cheering his every
move. He delivered a single which brought home a run in the 1st inning,
doubled bringing in two baserunners in the 2nd inning, popped a two-run clout
over the fence in the 3rd inning, stroked a one-base hit in the 5th inning
and banged out a base-hit in the 7th inning. Dublin ended up with 17 hits
for the game while Dallas had 13.
The victory went to Ryan Weathers(2-5) who went 7 innings, allowing 2 runs.
Shane Baz(0-2) suffered the loss. He gave up 8 hits and 2 walks in 1 inning.
'The ball was jumping off my bat' Buxton said. 'I didn't do anything
differently, it's the same way I always approach the game.'
