Kyle Bradish didn't allow a hit until the 6th inning at Busch Stadium as the
Tampico Stogies beat the Caracas Leones in 10 innings 3 to 2.
Both teams were tied at 1 runs apiece after nine innings. Tampico was
victorious in the 10th inning. Connor Norby got things going when he bombed
a two-run dinger resulting in an exciting win for Tampico and a raucous
post-game celebration by the home town fans. Tampico had only 5 hits for the
night.
The winning pitcher was Tanner Banks(2-2) who allowed 1 run in 1 inning. The
right-handed Bradish lost his chance for a no-hitter when Mike Trout doubled
with nobody out in the 6th inning. Jake Junis(4-3) was the losing pitcher in
relief. He allowed 1 hit and no walks in 1 inning.
