Joey Bart launched 3 homeruns and had 6 RBI as the Aarlington Aardvarks topped
the Dublin Pubcrawlers by a score of 11 to 5 at Aarlington Field.
Bart was spectacular at the plate. He blasted a two-run home run in the 1st
inning, clubbed a two-run home run in the 5th inning and bombed a two-run
dinger in the 8th inning. Aarlington totaled 9 hits on the night.
The victory was credited to Michael Kopech(5-6) who went 3 and 1/3 innings,
allowing no runs. Kopech got relief help from Daniel Hudson who gained credit
for his 13th save. Jose Quintana(3-8) was the loser. He was touched for 4
homeruns in his 4 and 2/3 innings of work.
'I felt great out there tonight' Bart said. 'I was seeing the ball perfectly,
and I was right on it with my swing.
