In an exciting finish the Borculo Bumble Bees pulled out a win over the
Aarlington Aardvarks by a score of 9 to 6 at Bumble Box.
Borculo came up with the deciding runs in the 9th inning plating 3 runs
utilizing 2 base hits. Francisco Lindor started the inning off right when he
singled. After an out was recorded, Lindor got a good lead and stole second.
Jarren Duran then drew a walk. One out later, Brandon Lowe came up and he
lofted a three-run bomb making Borculo the victors to the delight of the home
town faithful. Despite losing, Aarlington out-hit Borculo 12 to 9.
Ryan Walker(5-2) went 1/3 of an inning allowing no runs for the victory.
Yennier Cano(0-2) was the losing pitcher in relief. Wth the win Borculo now
has a record of a division leading 63-27. With the loss, the Aarlington
ballclub's record is 54-36.
