Rafael Devers connected with a 'big fly' and had 3 RBI as the Woodfield
Roadkyll defeated the Tombstone Huckleberries by a score of 5 to 3 at
Englefield Green.
Woodfield won the game with a rally in the 8th inning scoring 2 runs on 2
hits. After an out was recorded, Juan Soto got things rolling when he lined
a base-hit. Devers was next and he clubbed a two-run home run. Despite
losing, Tombstone out-hit Woodfield 10 to 7.
The win went to Justin Martinez(3-1) who allowed no runs in 1 and 1/3 innings.
Collin Snider(0-1) took the loss in relief. He gave up 2 hits and 1 walk in
1 and 1/3 innings.
