carried a no-hitter into the 6th inning as the Caracas Leones outscored the
Palatine Cubs 6 to 2.
Gausman(7-5) pitched well for Caracas in their victory. He was reached for 3
hits and 3 walks in 6 innings. The right-handed Gausman lost his chance for
a no-hitter when Jackson Merrill tripled with two outs in the 6th inning.
Caracas had 13 hits overall, while Palatine had 6.
Kenley Jansen earned the save, his 10th. Mackenzie Gore(2-12) took the loss.
