Bryce Harper cracked 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI at Leones Field as the Caracas
Leones beat the Dallas Gibsons 6 to 1.
Harper helped send the fans home happy. He clubbed a solo home run in the 3rd
inning, doubled which plated a run in the 5th inning and cracked a two-run
shot in the 8th inning. Caracas had 9 hits overall, while Dallas had 5.
The win was credited to Tanner Bibee(4-2) who went 7 innings allowing no runs.
Bibee was helped out by Jake Junis who recorded his 3rd save. Jose
Berrios(4-5) was given the loss. He surrendered 5 hits and 3 walks in 6
innings.
'It's almost like the ball was trying to hit my bat,' Harper said. 'Whenever I
would swing, the ball found the sweet spot.'
