Carlos Rodon whiffed 10 batters as the Dublin Pubcrawlers defeated the
Palatine Cubs by the score of 8 to 4 at Kauffman Stadium.
Rodon(5-7) gave a fine effort for Dublin. He went 8 innings allowing 8 hits
and 4 walks and served up 2 'big flies'. Dublin rapped out 7 hits for the
night.
Hunter Greene(5-6) was hit with the loss. He gave up 1 hit and 4 walks in 1
inning. Rodon didn't realize how many strikeouts he was racking up. When
told he had 10 he was obviously surprised, 'No kidding? Man, I knew that I
had a decent total, but I didn't think I had K'd that many. Say, that's
pretty good, isn't it?'
