At Kauffman Stadium the Palatine Cubs were battered 11 to 5 by the Dublin
Pubcrawlers.
Starling Marte was a seemingly constant irritant to the hometown fans as he
provided much of the offense for the visitors. He delivered a one-base hit
scoring a run in the 6th inning and depressed the partisan hometown fans with
a grand slam home run in the 7th inning. Dublin managed 11 hits in their
victory.
David Peterson(3-4) picked up the victory, allowing 3 runs in 5 and 2/3
innings. Pablo Lopez(3-7) absorbed the loss. He surrendered 5 hits and 2
walks in 5 innings.
