Will Brennan rocketed 2 homeruns and scored 3 times as the Woodfield Roadkyll
outscored the Vernon Hillbillies 7 to 5.
Brennan provided the offensive punch. He laced a base-hit in the 1st inning,
cracked a solo homerun in the 3rd inning, singled in the 5th inning and
delivered a solo blast in the 8th inning. Woodfield kept the pressure on
throughout the contest as they scored in 6 different innings.
Joe Ross(2-1) got the win allowing no runs in 1 inning. Andres Munoz gained
credit for his 12th save. Jonathan Cannon(0-3) absorbed the loss in relief.
He got hammered, allowing 5 hits and 2 walks in 2 and 2/3 innings.
