With the crowd on their collective feet, screaming at the top of their lungs,
very talented Texas Flood rallied to top Borculo Bumble Bees by the score of
8 to 6.
Texas came through with the game-winning runs in the 9th inning plating 3 runs
on 3 base hits. After an out was recorded, Jurickson Profar got things
rolling when he delivered a solo blast. Riley Greene followed next and he
ripped a base-hit. Vladimir Guerrero Jr dug into the batters box next, but
he struck out. Corey Seager followed and he clubbed a two-run home run
resulting in an exciting win for Texas and a raucous post-game celebration by
the home town fans. This was the kind of game that many fans love as the
lead changed hands 5 times.
Bryan Hoeing(3-1) allowed 1 run in 4 and 2/3 innings, and picked up the
victory. Ryan Walker(3-1) ended up with the loss in relief. 'Wow, that was
fun!', Hoeing said following the game. 'Once in a while you play a game that
reminds you just why you got into this business to begin with!'
