In a good matchup it was the spectacular Borculo Bumble Bees 7, the Columbus
Crowd 5 at Bumble Box.
Columbus never recovered after Borculo took the lead in the 7th inning scoring
a single run on 2 base hits. Columbus had a chance in the 9th but they came
up short.
Tyler Glasnow(7-2) got credit for the victory, pitching 8 innings and allowing
4 runs. Ryan Walker gained credit for his 13th save. Tarik Skubal(6-6) was
the loser. He pitched 6 and 2/3 innings giving up 7 hits and 3 walks.
Frank Lopeman was subdued after the ballgame, 'That one really hurts. If our
guys had simply played more fundamentally sound, we could have won that one.
That is what really ticks me off!'
